Big shout out to marinabrian
Sadly I've been suffering with a severe neck problems for quite a while and it really affects my ability to do my work on my cars, so when the front coil spring snapped on my wife's 75 diesel I tried to do the job myself and just couldn't manage it. So I made a phone call to Brian to ask if he knew anyone close to me who would be able to help.
Despite Living nearly fifty miles away Brian insisted on coming to my house the next day. When he got to mine he made short work of removing the award lower pinch bolt that had thwarted my attempts to remove it. In fact he had the whole job done in just over a hour. All I could do was to watch him work from a safe distance as I am shielding. I really can't thank Marinabrian enough he really knows these cars inside out.

A talented engineer, who with many others, has my respect.
His wealth of knowledge has been a huge asset to us all. Doesn’t suffer fools gladly and would challenge unsound information from posters in a direct manner. Again, a huge benefit for members, who otherwise were in danger as taking this ill-informed, erroneous info. as gospel. Sadly, the powers that be had to manage conflicts between a gifted engineer and someone repeatedly posting nonsense in the technical forum. Unfortunately, support for the latter was decided. In my opinion, they got it badly wrong……
