- the Dealer reckoned their workshop was full up before then. Luckily, apart from the horrendous creaking/squealing noise when using the clutch pedal, it doesn't stop me using the car. Apparently it was a well known fault with the car back in 2006/2008, to the extent where some owners were having a replacement master cylinder fitted under warranty. At least I haven't got to take the car in - they have an employee who lives near me, so he'll pick it up on his way to work and drop it off again at the end of the day.

Oh heck! squeaks drive you mad, That's good you don't have to mess about taking it in though. I've been down to Aldi to get some more grow bags & lawn feed, I found out yesterday why the "Pound stretcher" store were selling grow bags three for a fiver, the last two I opened to plant up tomato seedlings had glass fragments, pottery fragments and dried dead roots in them Having said that the tomato plants seem to be doing well in it. I'll get my little lawn feed spreader out to do the lawn feed why I've had a cuppa, for some unknown reason I bought a tin of pitted prunes whilst I was there

Wondered why they didn't look very short - lawnmower had been left on a high setting by the last person to use it - so I had to go back over them with the low setting on Now trying to install some bamboo screening; many moons ago, the neighbour at the bottom of the garden had a fancy brick wall erected where his land joins mine. Problem was that whilst the builder neatly pointed and tidied up the neighbour's side - he left what we see in a right mess - mortar hanging out, broken edges to some of the bricks etc. At the time, to avoid an argument, I paid to have my side rendered, but after many years, all the rendering is now falling off. Rather than paying a brickie to strip off the old render and replace, I managed to get a 4m long by 2m high bamboo strip screen - £27.50 from Wilko. Hopefully it will hide all the grotty brickwork when installed.

Don't have any grass in the garden and certainly don't miss it. In the last place always regarded mowing the grass as a chore, neighbour on the other hand had his like the green at a gold course.

Evening all, it's been a beautiful sunny day today, I took the battery maintainer off the Rover & gave it a snowfoam & drive around the back service road to loosen the cobwebs.
I shot a video to try out the pitivi video editor in this Linux Solus Mate OS, made a bit of a mess but I think I can suss it out in the future. Got the lawn feed on all the lawns too today. LOL Nah not constipated, I quite like prunes and these tinned ones in syrup are really nice & juicy. I did some cubed Chinese pork in a oriental sauce doodah with rice, very nice too.

Looking forward to a half day off tomorrow, also I need to pick up some toys from the local post office that's going to help me with my supercharger project, I'm hoping to get stuck in to it tomorrow.
