Default British Superbikes

As some of you know we are following the progress of a relation of my wifes (Ryan Vickers) in the British Superbike Championship this year.
Today saw the last of the pre-season testing at Silverstone
I'll let Ryan describe it in his own words
Ryan Vickers #7
"Well that's it for the Silverstone Test, we had some great sessions learning to ride the bike in the wet which was very positive! We also had some great dry weather riding 👍 unfortunately in the final session of the day I had a high speed crash at Turn 2 tucking the front at about 150 mph, luckily I got away with it, with just a sore foot! I know my mistake and that is the main thing, it’s all part of the learning curve! Sorry to the team for making a mess of the bike but we will be back and stronger than ever at round 1"

Typical bike racer 150 mph crash and more concerned about the bike than himself.
Anyone else going to round 1 Easter weekend
Cheers Ian

lucky NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-, at that speed I'd expect a lot worse.
Goodness knows how they pick themselves up and walk away as if nothing had happened. My legs would be jelly.

Not going but watching on the tele.

Last track I went to was Brands Hatch to watch Geoff Duke fly round on a Gilera.--I was up a tree at Druids.---

PS. ( Saw Jim Clark from the same tree whilst he was flying around in a Lotus Cortina saloon. )

Heres a couple of press release pics (hence the stand) of Ryan Vickers courtesy of Lee Hardy Racing
Lets hope that famous #7 proves to be lucky for him.

Cheers

Ahh Caldwell mountain! As you said, need some balls to go over that at any decent speed.
