Bulb warning light came on the way to work, checked on carpark n/s dipped beam. Got to work and took the covers off tried to press the retaining spring in (reflectors) no joy just a sore finger.
Got home and tried again used a screwdriver to get more leverage and popped one of the ball joints but no joy with the spring. Swapped the cars over so will be in the ZT till I can get the bumper off the weekend, not driving on the motorway with only 1 headlight when I don't have too. May look at fitting the halogen projectors instead at least their twist in! |

I'm still swapping emails with different people every time at AutoDoc, trying to get the bearing I ordered. Getting nowhere fast, looks like I will need to get a solicitor involved if I want satisfaction.
Should've heeded the warnings that they would send an inferior part! Ched di the sensible thing and bought a genuine part - is it SNR bearings??

Replaced the new camshaft sensor with the old one.
Turns out the original is better than the Chineseium replacement... While under the bonnet, had the thought that maybe my poor cold running is caused by a manifold leak that seals up with heat. Maybe worth trying replacement gaskets. |

1 2 Also remember when a new cable is added the little tag must be pushed outwards to remove the old cable then bent back into position after new cable fitted. 3 4 I have replied to your email & PM

Replaced this spiffy intercooler hose on the ZT
Then T4'd a nice low mileage 75 to see if I could sort out the warning lights covered in black tape And finally looked at the possibility of replacing the ZT with something more useful for the upcoming congestion charge/ULEZ the numpties at Newcastle City Council are cooking up....... Brian |
