You could have just rang me Alan, I have all of the Rover special tools, and it would not have been a problem to change your hydramount

Well onto something that has irked me about SWMBO car for some time......in the form of some previously beautifully crafted OSF brake pipe

So while I was waiting for the rain to pass over so I could tackle some jobs on the ZT, I cobbled this up.......

So once I have a chance to fit this luxury new kunifer item, it should look something like this.........

I love the way things are so nicely done (not) by garages in a hurry when in fact making this pipe took about fifteen minutes, and will be the only thing holding the two hlves of the car together in forty years time

Yesterday. Drove 380 miles round trip to Shropshire. And it wasn't an enjoyable drive. The front tracking is getting worse and the vibrations and hollow engine knocking isn't any better after a new conteca crank pulley. The brakes are rubbish too. Oh! and the gear change is getting really sticky.

New Hydromount, discs, pads and service kit are on it's way to me, so a christmas sort out is on the cards.

Default Gah!!

Test date 16 December 2016

Expiry date 29 December 2017

Test Result Pass

Odometer reading 134,725 miles

MOT test number 1653 2397 1753

Advisory notice item(s)

Central front Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases downpipe gasket (7.1.2)

So Ive ordered one of these

The leak was miniscule, no chuffing noises, just a tell tale of a little sooty line on the flange
