Just want to confirm that, doc did mention reducing the dose but wasn't expecting that much! Keeping on top of taking a single pill every other Saturday could be a bit of a pain.
Good evening Steve, I hope the reduced dosage works out for the best.

Just as well I checked, its every other day not every other Saturday as the Pharmacist put on the label! Asked him about a dull ache I'm getting in my knees just now, ok when I'm on the move but annoying when I'm sitting and a bugr when I'm trying to get to sleep. Wants an Xray as I'm at the "at risk age" for arthritis . . . . oh f...... wonderful

A few years ago I toured Wales with Jessica in the V6 and thought about meeting up some of the guys along the way. My attempt to drive through the Brecons had to be abandoned after the VIS packed up, no power to climb those mountain roads. The tour ended up visiting Jules who sorted it out. We had the pleasure of meeting James.uk What a lovely man he was, still missed. We love Wales, the Welsh language and the country side. I am biased as my Grandad worked down the mines and looking back, I have many happy childhood memories from the valleys. All that changed down the road later on with Thatcher

What plans do you have for the summer, a holiday perhaps?
Sorry for the late reply Phil but nothing planned as yet. I do however intend to get out on the restored motorbike when the boss is at work. Household chores first followed by cruising

The weather is horrendous here at the moment, I hope and pray that any damage may be minimal

Statins reduce cardiac events by as much as 25% so one can understand why they don't want to stop them completely, unless the side effects are intolerable. If your cholesterol is managed with your diet on the reduction, it's a bonus Steve. An x-Ray should show up where the arthritis is. I found that Vitamin D + calcium helped with pain relief once the X-rays showed where it was in my back, ankles and a blood test showed I was deficient. Maybe my story might help you understand another blood test would show what type of arthritis and help decide on treatment......be lucky!
