Default S525 has been spotted on the public highway

Yes, thats right, I have seen S525 OVP on the public highway, WOW, did she look good.
S525 was dressed in yellow/blue chequered livery and wearing a nice flashing blue strobe light on top.........
Picture the scene, the SAS are fighting Al Qaeda in the italian embasey in London........but the Al Qaeda have left a massive bomb within a Renault panel van outside, and its going to explode in 30 mins..........along comes Ross kemp, he jumps into the van and drives it across London to some open land. The useless Police chief offers a police escort to ensure they get the van there...
This is when you can see a delightful looking S525 OVP providing the said escort.......full police livery, strobe lights on top.........I did get a little excited at seeing her after all the talk about saving her...

So, not only is she possibly the oldest surviving S plate R75, she is also a TV star !!!!!

My question is,
Was she sub-contracted to a film crew at some point ?
How did ITV get hold of her ?
What other shows was she used in ?

The program you need to watch is 'Ultimate Force' Series 3, Episode 3 The class of 1980 (wake me up inside)
It was shown originally in 2005

I am sure someone on here can get hold of the episode to attach the show/download some screen shots of S525 OVP in action.

If someone can get hold of the episode, its approx 1hr 20 mins into it, right towards the end...

But what else has S525 been used for............ let the search begin
Has anyone got any contacts within ITV to see who booked the car and where from

I should point out that posting of potentially copyrighted material on the forums may result in such links/items being removed to uphold copyright laws.

However.... Two words: One starts with "e" and ends with "mail", the other phrase starts with "private" and ends with "messa...." oh, you get the idea...

This is all good stuff! We may not be looking to flog S525, but things like film/TV appearances do seem to enhance the interest in - and, therefore the value of classic cars. A friend has an old Jag XK120 which he has lovingly restored and has managed to obtain still photos of a couple of film appearances it made. The pics are included in the provenance book he has compiled and most show attendances attract generous offers from other enthusiasts!
It took time for him to get the photographs, mainly because he had to contact the right person at the film companies. However, once the correct contacts were established, they were happy to provide still shots.
I hope we can get a lot more of S525's history recorded. After all, it's all part of the fascination, wouldn't you agree?
