I have three favourite moments:-
1) Basil to the Yank when the Yank asks for a Waldorf Salad. "I am sorry - we are right out of Waldorf's" 2) When Sybil is angry at Basil and from behind the counter just keeps yelling Basil ! Basil !! Basil !!! Basil !!!! 3) Manuel when he turns and says "Mr Fawlty puts basil in the ratatouille?" The whole two series are TV at its very best. |
