Yes

I do have to save it from doom as at the end of the day there going up in price and getting rarer and this one is even rarer to have the mg zt leather seats, dark oak dash and even rarer for being a Tourer that they made 16000 Tourers

Whats the story with the mileage Mileage Thomas? it appears to have lost 200k since last year?
The MOT tester must have read it wrong?

The amount of mileage errors from mot stations is terrible, you think they would check what they type before entering it on to the database.

One of mine has ‘lost’ several thousand miles at one point in its life, when you look at the average miles per year, everything tally’s up!

I can sympathise with the brake pipe bursting under test - mine did that last week - the garage replaced 2 pipes. Lucky, really, because apart from a couple of dodgy bulbs/contacts, that's all it failed on, although it has advisories on front ball joints. Also lucky, 'cos I drive nearly 500 miles most weeks in it - 16,000 since last MoT.

This proves that the MOT test is a very important bit of law, you just don't know how good your car is to be on the road. Mine failed this year (it fails every year) but at least I know my car will be safe for another year.

How will it be safe for another year ?A MOT test is good for only the time it was tested. All safety related components require regular inspection Not just once a year by the tester!
