Hi Andrew, might be worth posting this question in the technical section, and give some more information as to why you think it needs cleaning ? Do you think there's water or dirt in the system, or is the car not running correctly - if so, what are the symptoms, etc ?

Good luck

Hi Andrew
Could always try some BP Ultimate / Shell V-Power and/or some Redex and an enthusiastic run to clear the pipes out....
I had an issue with emissions on my rover 200 last year and the above got me through an MOT retest!
I know lots of folk poo poo the expensive fuel but this worked for me.
Wouldn't do a misfire any harm anyway
Good luck!
John

Put a bottle of cata clean in that should also help with emissions.

What's the mileage on the car Andy.....have the spark plugs ever been changed ? The rear bank can be a little awkward to get at, is it possible that these (or at least one) might need renewing ?

Drive it, but leave the slippers and the pipe at home!
