Default Cloth heated seats???

Hi all,

Scanning ebay - as we do - brought up a 75 diesel manual tourer a dozen or so miles from me so I thought it might be worth a look:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-...UAAOSw4eJbDugv

Looks nice enough although the MoT history isn't great BUT the console definitely has 2 heated seat buttons but she has cloth seats?

I've only ever heard of heated LEATHER seats

Erm???? Have I missed something? Comments & thoughts welcome.

Ta.

Andy

A rare option as most people went for leather heated seats. Personally I don't think of cloth naturally goes with heated seats, maybe other owners agree and did not tick the option box. I think Valour heated seats are even rarer.

Heated cloth. As you say, a rare option but has to be the ultimate for winter comfort.

Like others have said, it’s a rare option, but they heat up twice as quick as the leather version.

Thanks folks.

I might give her a look over. She's only just run in at 111K .

I actually prefer cloth seats (and Sandstone rather than Grey - but you can't have everything!) .

Spec seems a bit odd. Rear parking sensors but no front fogs? The "normal" push button ATC/heater controls with Contour wheels and plain cloth seats suggests a Classic SE. But the rear doors seem to have electric window buttons and she's a CD in the glove compartment - Harmon Kardon option?

I'm wondering if she has the Driver Intelligence Pack as the windscreen looks like it's got rain sensing wipers?

She's missing 2 of the things I like the most - Cruise & FBH - but that can be easily rectified (especially if the loom is in place)!

Sounds like someone had a bit of a play with the options list or at some point in her life she's been tweaked .

Cheers.

Andy.

With thanks to Reebs for his post on the options available

have seen a few 75's with heated cloth seats. Have seen a couple sets where the seats were cloth but heated electric. For comfort, the heated cloth seats would be best, very soft and comfortable seats and you'd feel the heat better than though leather seats.

My alcantara heated seats are much more toasty than my 2 leather sets in 2 cars

You see more leather heated seats as it was standard in mki Connoisseur models and mkii Connoisseur SE models.

I can not see the point of heated seats, leather or cloth. It’s not my backside that feels the cold ...................ever.

I'm very glad of mine, and getting gladder, as the mornings get darker and colder! Need to get the FBH sorted, then I'll be really cosy.
