Default Where does this plug go?

Okay, here's another one
I've been changing the thermostat on a V6 2.0

After taking it all apart and putting it all back together again, I noticed there is a spare plug with no apparent socket to go to.
It lives just underneath the carb by the air intake.

Any ideas?

I ran into the same issue a month ago.
The traction control connector is a nicely made plug with the cable moulded on and is stamped with "BMW". If you don't have traction control just leave it be.
It drove me crazy for at least half an hour trying to find something to plug it into (I don't have TC) The car is running great without it!
