Ive bought 2 pairs of flat blade wipers off ebay and both sets have been great. The cheap ones from Wilko are ok for about 6 months then they smear etc esp after a slight frost.
I would guess Bosch would be good but cant find the heart to pay £20 for wiper blades.

And as you said earlier, new ones always are a huge improvement on old ones.
It always amuses me when someone says these new aero wipers are much better than my old ones
ps my oem Bosch were always replaced on my new company 75s before they changed the car [every 3 years] so they don't last longer either

How often do you guys/girls change your wiper blades out of interest?

As with others I have gone for Aero's off Ebay; cheap and actually surprisingly good. The first set I bought for my mazda bongo about 5 years ago. Starting to get a bit streaky. So not bad really at £1 per year!! I have had them on the 75 for 12 months and no issues at all (massively better than the OEM ones on my Fiat 500!! Two sets in three years!)

I renew 'em every 2 years in the Autumn - ready for winter.
