Default 42 minutes

I should have given up.
I have just spent 42 minutes on the phone to screwfix customer services trying to find out what thread is in the centre of their mirror screws to hold the plastic cap on.
Their screw is too short but I like their cap, I can get longer screws but I need to know if the cap is the same thread.
I wonder if it is 5BA

May be I'll just buy product 804kF

Spalding Fasteners in Lincoln should know if cap screw threads are a standard size.
