Default Ambient lighting wont work

Ive just fitted ambient lighting to my 75 and it wont work i connected the red and white wire to the red wire on the LED and the black wire to the black wire on LED have i wired it the wrong way?

Try another led, they don't always work, & make sure the connections are sound

Ive tried 3 led,s in both doors wont work the connections are sound.

Which red/white and black wires do you mean?

What kind of LEDs are you using?

Have they a voltage reducing resistor in series?

The wires that go to elec window switches for illumination they are 3mm soft glow leds with built in resistors.

If the supply is already low enough to power the switch illumination LEDs the resistors might be pulling the voltage too low to power your new ones. Maybe try removing a resistor and see if your LED now lights up? Or check the supply voltage first. It should be around 2-3V depending on the LED colour.
