My elderly Father has decided that it’s time to sell his Rover, and I just wondered where to get a good idea on price/reserve I should put on it, if I list it on “the bay”
It’s a 54plate Contemporary, British Racing Green, cdti Auto, having done nearly 100k miles, full black leather electric & heated seats, drives really nicely, what kinda reserve shoul I put on it?
Thanks in advance
Mike

Hi Mike.
It all depends on what condition it's in, you could try and sell it on here if you paid your £10 subs and you would have a captive audience for anyone looking for 75.

Will most certainly cost you less than the pay pal fees and ebay fees.

What reg is it so it can be checked on https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history

It sounds absolutely lovely - in A1 condition I would expect anywhere between £2500 and £4000 (towards the top end if a Tourer).
The Auto Diesels seem to hold great money, and will likely creep up in value as time marches on too.

I echo the sentiments above - I've had a lot of success selling on this very site.

Thanks for your responses, the car is very clean, it really is a nice car, it’s just due to his age, running two cars is getting rather expensive, the car is in excellent condition, I shall sort out the £10 subscription fees.

This is one for the moderators, am I allowed to put a link up for the car on the bay of fleas, or is that against forum rules?

We will have to wait and see but the thread got the job done, as it seems to have sold.

Not surprised that sold quickly - looks absolutely lovely!
Hopefully the new owner will join up and show us more
