Yes Mark, you'll find it underneath the sparking plugs cover.

Which engine does your car have Mark? You list it as a 1.8 so assuming it is a K Series then see if you can borrow a cam sensor to try it out to save wasting money. If you have a diesel then it does sound like a typically failing cam sensor.
