That was funny. Last time we had a barbecue Ging was going to break and burn an old dried out coconut, didn't get burned and its lying next to the recycling boxes near the back door. I went into the kitchen and spotted a squirrel trying to work out how to get into it

He's determined, every morning the coconut has moved from where I left it at night. "That's the biggest acorn I've ever seen. Just need to work out how to get into it"

Afternoon all, I've been taking down curtain & Blind rails & moving stuff out the way ready for the UPVC window installers tomorrow. I'll be replacing three old wooden single glazed windows for new UPVC double glazed units, There will only be two more windows to change at the back then, They'll have to wait until I save up some more dosh.

Nice sunny day here now so I'm on seed collecting duties this afternoon for next years flowers, Holly Hock, French Marigolds, Nasturtiums & Cosmos.

Remember when my folks got double glazing in here, middle of winter. Snow was so heavy ended up with a snowdrift in the hallway The fitters couldn't get here for two days, their depot was snowed in.

Not having a good evening, dunno what I've done but both wrists and hands are aching, from the wrist to the tips of the fingers. Taken paracetamol but its done nowt. Supposed to water the garden, think I'll just set the "nodding donkey" sprinkler up for a while.

Good morning everyone.

We have a Misty start to the day.

Essential shopping today to Tesco’s in Lee Mill, means travelling over to the dark side.

Morning all, how is everyone?

Today we are renewing our travel cards for the buses and the trains, we have had a few rides on the train to the coast and it’s been fun. Also today, I have booked a guided tour of the “Book of Kells” at Trinity College Dublin.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Kells

We will have lunch out. To gain entry into the restaurant we have to show our vaccination certificates.
