Thanks all think I'll just go with a set of new original bolts and chrome finish caps. Have caps on the other cars, they're ok but a bit annoying to get off and often scratch the chrome finish off when removing them.

Cheers

To the rescue .... get the new oem style bolts and then get a set of polished stainless steel bolt caps! I can't remember where I bought them from or what car it was for as it was a good while ago but if you searched on ebay etc: I'm sure you'll find them on there. Kind of the best of both worlds.... safe bolts and bling looks. (gave myself an idea there haha.)
Good hunting mate.

I want a set of the MG rover black ones.

However at ~£4 a bolt, they can ram that where the sun doesnt shine.

Get a set sandblasted, etch primed, and painted in 2K black gloss.

Following that have a 17mm hex socket machined out to 17.3mm, and then apply a thin strip of Strachan 6811 to the inside of the socket to prevent damage to the new finish.

Or alternatively, go to the pub and have a pint of cold beer

Beer rarely is useful.. But it tastes nice, and has been helping ugly people have sex for donkeys years.

Ooh new clutch......I'm doing one of those this weekend

I don't think you will find the diesel suffering from fuel filter separation though

I bought a replacement set of wheel bolts and paid what i thought was a high price. They rusted up after just 6mths. Put on caps ever since.
