Default ABS light and the RAC

I need to drive to France tomorrow but today I found the ABS light on. Is it worth calling the RAC? Or will they not have a clue?

The most likely diagnosis Lee is damage to the sensor lead in the wheelarch. They pop out of the retaining bracket and come into contact with the tyre when the steering is turned to full lock. The sensor will need renewing and they are usually very difficult to extract from the hub. Once done, add some tie wraps to keep the new cable in its bracket.
