Default La-Z-Boy made in China?

I've always been a fan of my La-z-boy chair. It now looks like a rough old army boot that's done a few tours but is the most comfortable chair that you will ever sit on. It's been in my house since we moved here and has seen many inferior three piece suites come and go.

Now that "she" is catching me up in the aches and pains department, we decided to buy a couple of new La-z-boy recliners. We did the rounds and decided on a model on show at our local Aldiss store.

"How long will it take to be made to that spec please?" I asked. "Twelve to fourteen weeks as they come form China!"

I've done a bit of digging and came up with this:-

No doubt in a very short space of time there will be Razeeboi chairs appearing in a store near you!

I rest my case. Nothing is sacred!

I have two of Lay z Boys and they are donkeys years old, cant remember how old but were made in the good old USA. Some wear on them but they just go on and on.

Needed a new chair recently to help me get up when my back is really bad and struggle so a riser recliner was ordered. Would have liked a Lay z Boy but too expensive and now you say made in China, well I would have been not too happy if had gone down that road. Got one that is perfect for me firmer than the Lay Z boys and made in Nottingham in leather and fully adjustable head rest, lumber etc etc. Still sit in the old boys though when not needing the riser.

We are in the market for 2 later this year for our new bungalow.
Any recemmendations as to model, type of recliner, manual / electric etc?
I know they are expensive but fully expect that they will last us many years.
