Default Pete Best ..... a bad day ???

Just tried getting my ZT-T insured with PB . I already have a MGF with them , infact I changed the ZT-T over to the F . I thought it was time for the Zed to be on the road so I enquired about a multi-classic policy by adding the Zed , we don't do them I was told , even though the web site says they can . Then went on to quote me just shy of £250 …….. That's more than a standard policy

I then receive an emailed quote back ……. now its down to £185 !!! . Policy's certainly have gone up over the last 2-3 years ……

Can you get NCB on more than one car?
If not, is that why the quote is more expensive than you think it should be?
I am only asking as I don't know.

esure did a similar thing to me a few years ago - insured my ZT with them, then swapped to an MG6 which they insured, then switched the MG6 for a ZT and was told they don't insure MGs(!) and I had to change insurers.

At following renewal for the ZT - esure quoted best price again, so switched back

Peter was set up originally for insuring MG's wasn't it??! Mine is with them. I think it was about £160 for the ZT. I swear its which advisor you talk to as I know people who have been told they don't do 75's after a 99 plate, yet I had a 54 with them...
