Yup, they're sided. Just as an aside, here's what one of my old ones looked like after it was removed:

All that was showing prior to removal was a couple of small bumps in the rubber. I think I may invest in a new pair to put aside for possible future use, as they seem to be even cheaper now than when I last bought them.

Perhaps someone with a freelander could check if they could be cut to fit?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/401296344225

Would it be worth insulating the edge of the door frame with insulation tape before fitting new ones? Maybe slow down the galvanic activity?

That sounds like a really good idea. I covered mine in waxoyl before fitting, but I suspect your suggestion is the way to go.

Unhappy

Ordered these today only to get this reply from both sites

"Thank you for your order from us. I'm very sorry but due to a very recent change of pricing for this part number from the manufacturer, I'm afraid this part number is no longer available from the manufacturer at this price.

I do apologise for your inconvenience, I have refunded your money in full. We have updated this part to reflect the manufacturer's new RRP and its new cost to us, and this part is now available in our online shop allcarpartsfast for £33.73."
On the other site they have gone up to £48.58 (BTW it appears both the sites are in fact one company as i received identical replies from both orders)

Along with just finding out that i'm no longer getting the Leather interior i purchased the other day it's been a bit of a sucky day

Just read this, then went to check my e-mails - I got the same reply.

A shame, as at the original price it made sense to order a spare set, but at over £60 plus postage, perhaps not.

It's over £100 with the VAT and postage for both sides but i did email back and mention that i was surprised that the manufacturer (seeing as they claim them to be original parts) was still stocking these as they went out of business a decade ago.

Of course, I was forgetting the VAT. Just hope the addition of the Waxoyl helps my current ones to last.
