Coolant loss overnight
Have a thermostat thats been weeping for some time -parts in the post!- checked the level again this morning and it appears to have dropped about half a pint overnight whilst doing nothing.
What with the winter darkness and car being used until 6pm, all i can do until the weekend is keep topping it up. Any ideas where coolant might be leaking to or from whilst standing? Have a gravel driveway unfortunately, so no tell tale signs of where it might be dripping out. I would have thought the thermostat only leaks around the seal when the engine is running?

I had just presumed the pressure of the pumped water, but thats good to know. I was having a slight panic that there may be another significant leak somewhere!
Love the car but she really is testing me! -the list of repairs since getting it in May is as long as my arm ^^;;
