Default Belt tensioner loose

I've removed my drive belt, with some difficulty, only to find there's not a cat's chance in hell I'll get the new belt on. When I turn the tensioner bolt, there's movement in the bolt without movement in the pulley - the pulley does move but not as much as the nut. How do I access the 15mm nut behind the shaft??

Thanks

It's ok, I've had a look and I see the bolt I need to get at now.

Easy enough to slip a ring spanner on the back of it - don't forget it has a left hand thread.

Not the approved method but put the belt around all of the top pulleys and partially on the crank. Then turn the crank. A suitable screwdriver to stop the partially seated belt slipping off the crank.

Not clever or smart but in times of need as I had with an immobile vehicle. At your own risk and all but it has been done by myself after fighting the alternator on my auto cdti.
