Default Feeling chuffed today

Avril started leaking fuel from the hp pump last week, nothing major but would only be a matter of time before it turned into a gush.
Well considering I've never done a hp pump on these engines before I thought I'd bite the bullet and refurbish the pump myself. £40 later for the removal tool and genuine bosch seal kit and a few hours under the bonnet I got the pump out, replaced all o rings and gaskets.

This morning I refitted everything and did a full leak test . Result bone dry!!

As daunting as it sounds there are plenty of videos on YouTube detailing the process of replacing all the o rings and oil seals made me feel more confident in doing a job I wouldn't normally do.

So she's all happy back together and up and running again.
