Default Looking for someone to fit a Cam belt(s) to 2.5 V6

Hi All,

I would have normally used T-4 Phil but understand he is in full time work now?

Therefore I'm looking for someone to fit camshaft belt(s) on my Rover 75 2.5 V6.

I'm in Hemel Hempstead so somewhere hopefully not too far away. But any distance considered.

I look forward to your reply.

Regards,

Terry

I've just had mine done at College Motors at Burford, about 70 miles from you on the A40. They have an advert at the top of this forum.
It's the second set of belts I've had done there.

Hi Terry

Steve at Steve Keene Motors in Stevenage did mine.

Very knowledgeable about 75's too .. would recommend him.

He gave me a clean MOT yesterday so I like him for that too!

Cheers
John

Lates 600 up in Warwickshire is still a very good option too.

As Pete says, Lates is a good bet or alternatively, Russel at MG Rover Solutions. Russell will come to you and, like Lates, knows these cars inside out.

I continue to use Gavin Fairley at Oxford Road Garage, Ryton, Coventry, CV8 3EA. He only deals in MGR, and very knowledgeable.

Another vote for Lates, he's been looking after my 75s for years. Not a bad run up the M1.

I'm often around Hemel for work (Silver 75 Tourer) never seen another 75 so Ill look out for you!

Hi Terry,

Yes, Phil works at Souls of Olney which is still convenient for Hemel I'd have thought. If you haven't been there, it's a lovely old town.

Another one for Lates600. I am there on Saturday morning for the belts to be done. Second time on this car. Last done in 2009. Yea, I know. Kept on at my son to get them done. So I will see what they look like after around 11 years and 80,000 miles.
