Help pricing a ZR
Hi I know not 75/ZTT but I know a few have had or have them so nephew is looking for a first car and asked me to find an average price for a 1.4 4 door no moon mileage and no rust. So any help on prices ?

Difficult to price as there are so few for sale. Likely that good ones will fetch at least £1250 upwards, dogs £995. Sorry not to have been more help.

3 on Auto Trader now - a low miler on 31 k -asking price £ 2,500 - another £1695 with 72k.

They don't age well in my opinion. Front wings, rear arches and several other areas prone to rusting. Interiors don't last well. A lot of bodged 'repairs' on mine. Heater dial had obviously got stuck (due to the valve in the engine bay seizing) so the obvious solution for someone was to force the dial switch until it broke off, then to get a pair of grips on the spindle and force that. Just read my copy of this week's "Classic Car Weekly", and coincidentally there is an article on the MG ZR. Projects £250 to £750 and concourse £5,000+. Eek!

Thanks all for the helpful answers he has now shifted his attention to a the 1.8 120’s as he has been told they are cheaper to insure
