Default Uploaded file is not an image

Morning all.

Tried to up load a image.

And it says

Uploaded file is not an image

If it isnt id like to know what it is then as it looks like a image to me

This happens if the image is too big on this site

Its vey strange years ago it would alert you to file size.

Ok... When i tried to upload a image it said Uploaded file is not an image.. So please explain where it says file is too large....

I think it's possible to actually reduce the file size.---Maybe you could try that and give it another go.---

Are you trying to post a picture on the forum here ??

I think we are all getting a little confused. Th point i was trying to say was. It says its not a image when clearly it is. Its not saying anything about file size. It says as iv said before.

Uploaded file is not an image.

What it needs to say if it is a size issue is up load file is to large.

To reiterate Dave's post #2, it's a generic response by the vBulletin software that this forum runs on when the image file size is too large.

I know it doesn't make sense but it's what happens.

Resize the image, say no wider than 1000-1200 pixels, and try uploading to your gallery again.

Thanks Jim. That exsplains a lot.

Due to this "generic" anomoliy Is this system fit for purpose? I file any sizes else were with no problems.
