Rattle on front suspension

Hi I have posted about a loud rattle I had when going over bumps or holes in the road with everything renewed, well nephew was in at it and found the spring was about an inch away from the stop so turned it round till it hit the stop and rattle is now gone, so does this sound right ?

No just not seated right at the stop
