In general the range of prices available on a 75/ZT will be determined more by post-code than anything else. Companies may also uplift their offered premiums because they already have significant risk within an area.

My 75 costs £122 PA and the Omega £98 wheras the XF is over £250 and the Corsa somewhere in the middle.

It's best to use a comparison site or a broker to see how the land lies for any individual, area and car.

£117 per month on my 75 with Admiral, but I only had 2 years NCB at the time.

£93 per month now on my Honda CR-V with 4 years NCB, still with Admiral.

I use Cherished Vehicle Insurance Services for my ZT-T who have a scheme through the MG Car Club. They are part of A Plan brokers.

My second year with them, they are flexible and accommodating of circumstances, vehicle modifications and are knowledgeable of the cars. One of the guys there worked at Longbridge, I have spoken to him.

Agreed value is free, you can get breakdown cover, mileages can be quite substantial, you can leave it outside etc, as long as it's not your main car or cars.

My car is, I think, quite nice with a fairly hefty agreed value so I would never insure using a mainstream insurer as values are all over the place and I suspect that it would be written off at the drop of a hat with a high street policy.

I think it cost me about £300. Like many things in life, you tend to get what you pay for (or hope you get, with insurance). I will probably renew again later in the year, but I may just enquire with Lancaster Insurance at renewal time.

I paid £159 fully comp on the 75 CDTI. I don't technically have any NCB, as I have a company car for daily use, but no accidents, claims or convictions and also a named driver on my other half's 25.

Insured with Saga, but I went through Topcashback Compare and got £40 cashback on top. Happy bunny

I have used Esure for several years for all our cars.

£198 for the ZT V6 160+ with brake mod and air filter declared - 18 years no claims.
I like them as your full no claims bonus gets applied to all of your cars that you insure with them. No idea what they are like when it comes to a claim though...

I do find that getting a quote a few weeks ahead of time affects the price quite a bit (sometimes).

My 21 year old son tried to re-insure his TF a few weeks back and the price had gone up to something like £1400, ~£500 increase (Hastings I think) - so he then quoted a V8 ZT for a bit of fun - £600 (and then went and got one and sold the TF...)
