I hear people use Vaseline for all sorts of unintended purposes. If it works for you and yours, who are we to question?

Have a look at this stuff:
https://www.russandrews.com/deoxit-d...tact-enhancer/ For those with an interest in Hi-Fi the name Russ Andrews will be well known. He's something of a fanatic about it all and sells some serious audiophile kit - £20K for a set of 1.5m speaker cables anyone? Yes, you did read that right - £20K. It's on his recommended list and he's known for only selling stuff he's absolutely happy about the quality and effectiveness of. Having said that, Vaseline is cheaper and if it's good enough for MB then what more is there to say . The other thing I've used for decades from my motorcycling days is ACF-50. You can actually watch it get to work on corroded electrical terminals. http://www.acf-50.co.uk/acf-50.htm Good Luck. Andy. Last edited by AndyN01; 28th June 2022 at 12:42..
