It's getting kinda wild out there, taken the hanging baskets down, swinging around like out of control pendulums!

Black sunflower seeds are going down well, both feeders are half empty already.

Just rang to see whats happening as I'm supposed to come off the Apixaban blood thinners & start the heparin injections no later than today or the biopsy next week will be cancelled, He's the only one that can prescribe them. Just been told he left for his holidays last night to India I give up.
Bad luck Ian

Ring the consultant’s Secretary or his Senior Registrar, explaining the reasons for your call - stopping the Apaxiban and needing a prescription for the heparin injections. What ever you do, don’t stop the Apaxiban without starting the Heparin. If you can’t get hold of the consultants team, ring the other team who is looking after you.

I went through this in 2015 and again in 2017 when I was on anticoagulants and needed surgery.

Cool

Afternoon all.

Lots of gardening done, been up the tip to get rid of three bags of garden rubbish. Also took a few empty tin containers and the cardboard box the parasol came in.

Chicken breast, spuds, sprouts, Yorkshire puds and gravy for dinner. Got some rhubarb and ginger for dessert.

Hi Phil Finally sorted....but only just!!! They got hold of another urology consultant in Bolton hospital who authorised it & I had to go & pick up the prescription from the urology dept.

I took it to the pharmacy there & after 30 minutes they buzzed me to go to the desk, What that consultant had written was wrong & only prescribed two injection packs instead of 4 they had to check with other doctors before they could fathom out what I needed & when to stop the Apixaban, Three & a half hours I had to wait to get the correct meds

Morning Bob and all, a slow drive to work this morning, a few of these on single lanes tends to slow you down a tad.

Maybe you should consider one Bob, they are perfect for the roads down here.

Morning Ian

Congratulations in getting it sorted, that’s one less thing to worry about. When you have the biopsy, it’s legs up in stirrup’s. Think of something pleasing, I wonder if they would let your wear your 3D headset? Just a thought

Today we are driving to London as I am seeing the surgeon tonight. I have booked a Premier Inn for a few nights and registered with ULEZ. The hotel in Belfast was a nice hotel except the A/C in the room could not be turned off, it’s controls on the wall said “warmer or cooler” and no switch off. The Guinness was excellent.
