Default Local Native Ritual

I have become aware of this ritual, almost weekly. During the early evening, the sound of a distant drum, shortly joined by another, then another; no discernable rhythm, but noticeable, rising from around various dwellings, throughout the whole neighbourhood. As dusk descends, the drumming decreases, then silence again...........it's bin day tomorrow.

oh boy wheelie bins do make quite a sound. Someone said open the lid when moving it, that quietens them down. If however you forget to put the bin out the sound of your neighbours doing it is a good reminder.
