Default nice car on the bay

Nothing to do with me, but an opportunity for someone.

I always suspect a car that is so highly praised by the seller, yet has a very short mot. Why not put a new one on it?

Looks like the material on the drivers door card is coming away from the backing, and the back of the drivers seat looks to be falling off.

That was also my thought, especially given the seller is a dealer in classic cars.

Putting on a new MOT should be done as a matter of course.

Been looking at this for some time, it’s come down from £3,995 and has been for sale for some time.

I agree, it will need probably all the door linings doing, and perhaps the roof lining as well.

It just seems too expensive still to me though, mind you car values are very silly at the moment…..

I think you are right - if you are going for the V6 then why not something with a decent specification. I'd sooner have an autobox too. Nice colour though. Not keen on the low resolution photos either.

Looked at this and didn’t understand why it was not re mot’d for sale this car was advertised a way back by its original owner lady selling on behalf of her husband. It was discussed on various fb groups around 6 months ago and on sale in the 2k area. I think the Black V6 with 33k on looked better value and has now sold.

It’s almost worth putting in a low cheeky bid, although expect it wouldn’t be taken.
It doesn’t help in the current climate that the 2l V6 is heavy on fuel.
As you say, spec is ok, right colour combination, but bet the belts need doing, and then the door cards etc.
