Haynes Pensioners manual - funniest thing ever
I bought this over the weekend at the Atwell-Wilson classic show, and I have to say it's had me crying with laughter. Really well put together and definitely is an accurate manual for UK pensioners.
Just seen it's available on Amazon, normal price £7.99 although today (13/07/2022) being Prime Day, it's offered at £6.45 (19% discount). Other retailers may be available. Well worth having as a coffee table read or gift for friends/relies. Dougie.

Haynes also do one on babies and another on dogs.
I think manuals on responsible parenting and responsible dog ownership are long overdue!

If only Haynes stuck to producing quality service manuals for the car enthusiast, like they used to do , unlike the current range of 'for use as toilet paper' 'manuals, they wouldn't have to resort to producing all kinds of gimmicks. What next, a manual on how to boil a kettle, or turn on the down stairs lights, and a separate one for the upstairs ones!.

I do find my Haynes 75/ZT manual useful along with my factory manual and Freelander manual. they supply most of the information I need for repairs.
Since the 70's I have found it best to pair Haynes with a factory manual for any car I have owned. The forum and other internet sources are invaluable for troubleshooting though.

My wife takes care of the pensioner maintenance in my house, I just have to follow her instructions.
