One other thing if you have a French speaking friend.---The stores manager at Python has always been very helpful. Quite probably he would know of an ex Rover dealer near to you where there is a T4.---

Hey guys, just a thought. Maybe nothing. Some facelifts have the intake air temperature or boost air temperature sensor in the top hose. If this fails, will it cost power?

Good afternoon all,
I seem to be having the same trouble as the OP, poor performance below 200rpm. I'm yet to try disconnecting the MAF yet to see if that has an impact. My query is where to source a replacement MAF? If that is what is required. Going through all the different threads on the subject I have come to the conclusion that the inserts could be fake despite be advertised as genuine Bosch (as Bosch do not sell the inserts separately) so the best bet is to buy a genuine part with the filter. There is this one from Rimmer's, a Land Rover part https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-MHK101130LP or https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-MHK101130SLP for the Rover part. Failing that, the insert from Ebay https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-MHK101130SLP If money was no object I'd go for the genuine part from Rimmer's. Money is an issue so I want to select the best value option, one that will last. Does anyone have any recommendations? Or maybe another source? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Rob
