Quizzie is a poorly girl . She in hospital with suspected pancreatitis or abdominal blockage. We're at home sitting by the phone.

Hope everyone is all OK and fully prepped for the weather over the next couple of days.

Take care.

Good morning Andy, a worrying time for you. Hopefully Quizzie pulls through.

Looking good for Quizzie to come home today. .

Nothing untoward on the scan or X-ray so no abdominal blockage which is great news as no gut surgery needed.

Hopefully I'll get a call mid-morning after they've done their "rounds" and she's OK to be discharged.

Thanks for all your support - much appreciated, my friends .

I'm going to get another portable one for the studio as well as that does get pretty toasty in there!

Now back in from trimming my neighbours bush........No sniggering you lot

Well I say trimming, it was more of a hatchet job.

Also drilled in three eye bolts and tied the pyracantha back to the wall so it's no longer tipping forwards.

Our neighbour has agreed that we can keep it trimmed seeing that he can't be bothered.

Ros is finishing tidying it up and at least we can drive through without scratching the car !

Whoops........Good luck with the tests Phil. Hope the Premier Inn you have booked this time is up to scratch, they usually are .
Morning Jeff,

We are enjoying seeing the pussy cat photos, looking playful and peaceful.

Thank goodness you have a neighbour who is receptive to your way of thinking, which makes life a tad easier. The hotel in Reading is 100%, spotlessly clean and comfortable, reception was like walking into a fridge, but last night we had to turn the AC off in our room as it was too cold. Of note, it was ultra quiet. We are here until midday then we are carrying on to our next stop in N London and seeing the cardiologist this evening. Thank you for your good wishes. Please send our love to Ros.

I had a letter from Inland Revenue informing me my tax code has changed and I will lose £126 each month from my NHS pension. I wonder if it was to do with a 3% pension increase. They give with one hand and take with the other. I guess everyone is in the same boat paying more back in taxes.

What are your plans today?

Cool

Morning everyone.

Slept for over 10 hours and really feeling a lot better.

It’s a grey start to the day. Rain is expected either today or tomorrow.

Good to hear Quizzie is on the mend.

Ging's last words before going to sleep (nightshift) were "trim the ivy!". I've clipped what I can reach from the ground, the rest can wait, thermometer on the wall is sitting at 28° . . . . not ivy trimming weather!
