Morning Bob, it's grey here as well, very muggy though!

There were distant thunderstorms last night but they never got to us sadly.

Enjoy your day with your Niece

Morning all.

Temp has dropped to about 20 degrees. A long way down from the 40.0 showing on the dash display when I needed to go out yesterday.

Quizzie's still not home and proving to be a bit of a head scratcher. Nothing untoward or unusual is showing up, including a CT scan yesterday. Waiting for the results of a test for Addisons disease. They don't think it's that but left untreated it's fatal so definitely worth doing. Being weaned off the pain meds and hopefully she'll be back home toady if all is OK and nothing comes to light that was being masked by the methadone.

Apparently it's not that unusual for animals to defy a diagnosis but be obviously not right.

Just want her back now if she's all OK and not in pain. Missing her dreadfully.

Aw Poor Quizzie, It must be a worrying time Andy, Fingers crossed for the best outcome.

Lawns mowed now that the temps are not in triple digits and tidying up the frazzled plants in the planters that succumbed to the inferno. Time for a cold one me thinks I'm doing nowt else except washing sweaty bedding .

Feel for you Andy. I worry if the girls are just a wee bit off.

Just been speaking to one of my neighbours. His wife went into a home some time ago, dementia. She's been moved to another home nearby, he's basically waiting for the dreaded phone call

Hi Andy, hope all is well when Quizzie comes off the meds.

Our pets are part of the family and we feel the same way when they are poorly as we do for our human friends and family.
