Evening Ian, spent an hour after work (About 6 hrs in total) Cleaning the seats on the Freelander, they are like new now, typically they wont last as beige leather and me are not a good combo!

Evening all.

Finally had my visual field test done this afternoon.
Hopefully the DVLA will be happy with the results and I'll be okay to drive still.

Great to see that Quizzie is back to her old self

The meatballs sounded yummy Ian

Tonight for Dinner

Morning Andy

What about a set of heavy duty seat covers for your Freelander? When I went to buy our 4x4 it had leather seats. I said to the dealer if he supplied waterproof scratch proof canvas seat covers and headrest/arm rest covers, it would seal the deal, job done. Just a thought.

Morning folks, how is everyone?

Last evening I received a phone call from a Consultant Vascular surgeon NHS who wanted to discuss my query yesterday about the ultrasound scan of the aneurysm 3 weeks ago.

The NHS ultrasound scan said it was 4.2 cm and the private scan in London said it was 5.9 cm.

He explained the NHS scan only measured the top view at 4.2 and did not measure the length view as the side view was not in its abilities.

The CT scan measured both views width and length at 4.2 x 5.9 cm. The two different measurements now made sense.

He was okay about me going private but said if it doesn’t work out he will still be happy to keep me on his list and this includes monitoring the other aneurysm in the knee and do the ops if needed.

He felt given my age, I stood a reasonable chance of surviving the surgery.

How very kind of him to call, what a nice chap
