Cool Bernard Cribbins RIP

The veteran actor Bernard Cribbins, who starred in the Carry On films, Doctor Who and the 1970 classic The Railway Children, has died aged 93.
Cribbins became a favourite with young audiences all over the country as the narrator of The Wombles and also made more than a hundred appearances on the children’s storytelling favourite Jackanory.

A sad coincidence with the release of the new film, but what an innings, and what an entertainer?

He was one of my childhood favourites, along with George Fornby & Abbot & Costello.
I don't know why, he just had that certain something.
