Default Undertray repair

Stripping down the front end of the ZT and noticed the engine under tray is damaged.
Has anyone repaired these and if so any suggestions as to what would be best.

Thanks

sand the around around then damage and reinforce with fibreglass.
I even added a strip of metal within the fibreglass then drilled through and put nuts and bolts through.

I used Felt Support Tray pieces cut to suit which I pop riveted to fix a tear and a missing chunk of the undertray.
If you are not familiar with what I mean its used for fitting under the eaves of a tiled roof to support the waterproof membrane. Wickes sell it for £2.50 a 1.5m length but builders merchants should also stock. Its a really tough black plastic, I found tin snips were the best thing to cut it with. I've used it on other diy repairs, it's really tough to bend but can be done with care with a hot air gun.

Much the same as above.

I screwed, with 0.5 inch self tappers, a short length of a spare metal bracket across a split in mine. A couple liberal coats of araldite later and it's held for about 4 years so far.
