Speaking to Jon today. Car has completely disappeared. No word at all about it. No sightings or scrapyard reports.

Even Mike from drive tribe shared it for me being a zt-t fan himself.

I think personally it's sat somewhere as its to hot to move now. Sadly it was parked up in the garage and not insured so he lost the lot.

I hate to suggest this, but is it not possible that it could have been stripped to order? Or at the very least isn't even in the country anymore?

Better keep an eye on Banana Bob. Also shiny and desirable.

Simon,

With only 26 Trophy Yellow ZT-T's made, most of the owners know Jon and each other and very unlikely to be in the market of having cars stolen to order!

I'm not sure if any are in europe either?

Tom.

These days thieves just steal a whole car on a trailer just to cut.the cats off for scrap money later.

Exactly this, I think it was possibly randomly taken for parts and not known at the time the rarity of the colour. It will be probably sitting somewhere hidden as it’s too noticeable to do anything with it.

Having parked my yellow. Zt-t beside 4 others when at pol, I can assure you, you won't find one that matches the other, so you'd need to paint to match regardless, so won't have been taken for that. It was random.

Probably stripped of its parts, repainted then banger raced, just like the two American cars stolen around the Andover area .

Well I sincerely hope not.

Nothing against Motor Sport, from stock to banger, grass track, and up to F1, but not when it involves stolen vehicles / parts.

Having said that, I'm sure that it has happened; thinking now about (allegedly) stolen intellectual property rights, in F1.

Regards

Mike
