Default Water getting into footwell

I am getting water in the drivers side footwell, the area of wetness is towards the centre of the car near the, what used to be called, transmission tunnel.
I have check all the plenum, sunroof drains, put a hose over the car and into the plenum with carpet up and no signs of leakage. Could it be entering the car from the air con drain tube as this would seem to be the only source of water in the area I mentioned.
Thanks
AW
PS have checked the heater matrix, all ok.

I am sure that others will suggest similar when I say to check the join under the A pillar where the sunroof drain is normally poorly connected to the pipe which then extends into the wheel arch area. Mine were totally clogged with dirt. As suggested by others, the joint is very poor and some have fixed that with the installing of hose connectors. I didn't, refixed the original with PTFE tape, and never had a problem again.

Worth looking, good luck.

I thought I had cleared my sunroof drains a while ago, but found that when the car was parked on a road with a pronounced camber I was getting water into the car. The drains had become blocked again fairly quickly due to an accumulation of dirt that had not been allowed to escape through the "ducks bill" at the end of the drain tube. I cleared the drains again with net curtain wire and made sure that the "ducks bill" end was cut off behind the wheel arch liner; since then I haven't had any problems. It it definitely isn't sunroof or plenum then I guess you would have to be looking at the windscreen seal.

Thanks for the comments, re the sunroof drain, I know where this runs through the cabin just to the right of the pedals on the rising toe board. However the foam underlay is dry in this area. I have pored water through it and it emerges from under the car from the aforementioned duck bills.
The ingress appears to be coming from the middle of the car although the matrix is dry, also it leaves no antifreeze staining as a tell tale which leads me to ask could it be coming from the air con drain?
I will check again the points mentioned earlier, when things warm up a bit, as it is going to take some drying out!

Thread moved to a more appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as threads get ‘lost’ very quickly in the General Forum.

With these front leaks theres something that happened to mine and a few others that rarely gets mentioned. The scuttle clip cups can fracture, -obvious sign is a loose scuttle clip- and these cups are pushed through a hole in the bulkhead meaning a fractured cup allows water to wick down into the car as a surprising rate
A very silly bit of design.. drilling holes into the bulkhead for the scuttle clip cups..
