Default Erm door card

I took off my drivers side door card today all went well until this bit fell into the bottom of the door can someone tell me how it fits back on

I think in the lock is a plastic fitting, near the bottom perhaps. Mine is green. The short length at the bottom of your picture pushes into it.
I think the hole that takes the rod is on the door side, The other end of the plastic fitting is splayed out so it does not fall out of the lock.
The top of the rod house thru the top of the door card
You don't have to refit it.

I think I can feel some kinda plastic but it’s sharp I think the fitting may have snapped has anyone left these off and covered the holes in the chrome bit on door cards if so what did u use ??

Get it fitted back in, use a small mirror and a torch to see where it goes, dead easy to fit in.

I have contemplated fitting LED's into the door locks that flash in conjunction with the alarm LED on the IPK, trouble is I cant be ar$ed as it is a lot of work!

Great minds and all that I might just stick a self adhesive chrome circle over the hole
P.s what would u charge to wire up led flasher buttons I’m dead interested in that option
