Default Back in the green

Howdo, back again and rejoined up so back in the green . Life just got in the way as they say.

Still in Reading, still in the 75 family though, my gold connie diesel keeps chugging along and it has a young upstart sibling now in an X Type.

Just thought I'd say a hallooo, hopefully will make a meet or two.

Nice to find another member who has an X Type as well as a 75. I find that the 75 is more comfortable (fits you like a glove), but the Jag is quicker and better economy as well (at least in diesel form).

When I was a delivery driver I used to deliver parts to the factory that makes all Jaguar prototypes, I was shown the X Type as it was in the development stages then, it had an Oval back window and they were experimenting with Aluminium panels but they kept splitting them on some of the curved sections. It looked like a smaller Sovereign back then with the front set up, the rear looked a bit E Type.
