Just a thought.
Massively cheaper than the petrol or diesel equivalent I would expect.

We did over 650 miles last week in our MGEV and using service station chargers it cost us less than £50.

Darn it, that was going to be my next question.

It just seems the government are now putting walls up that make it less attractive to go EV, I like to enjoy my motoring, sitting around in a service station for however long certainly isn't enjoyment, I also like putting my foot down without having range anxiety.

Around 35 minutes charging each time. Enough time for a coffee and a nice wee stretch and walk around.
Very refreshing and ended up I wasn't tired from the driving.
Would happily do it again, especially as more and more chargers are being installed.
No range anxiety, really enjoyed the drive

The new Euro VII/7 emission standards are set to be announced later this month for 2025, The OBD port is to be developed for OBM (on board monitoring). Also to be a component for the first time in Euro 7 is 'Geofencing' Whereas whole or part grid sections of the road network can be Geofenced to stop speeding by the cars/road furniture V2X chips & GPS.

No new car for me. Far too attached to my old ones. Just got to keep them going as long as possible. Had my share of new cars in my thirties. I don't fancy a spy in the car approach to motoring.
