Drivers Mat
The drivers mat on me car is getting hole in it where my heel rubs. Is there anywhere I can but a replacement without buying the whole set?

Get a piece of carpet and stick it to the original.

I cut a section from a rubber car mat and glued it in place over the hole. If you follow the pattern lines in the rubber mat it looks fine.

Never seen anywhere that will sell an individual mat, somebody on here may have an odd one to sell but you would need to let them know colour and type (L/H drive R/H drive, round eylet, oval eylet, 75, ZT, V8 )

Doubt, unless as said someone has a spare. They're not expensive as a set and probably would look better with matching carpets. You'd heve the old ones as spares if necessary too.

A lot of the ones on eBay are pure {naughty word}, and you'll have another hole in them in a few weeks.
Incidentally, just in case anybody's reading this and tearing their hair out about the mats constantly working their way forward, up under the pedals, I solved the problem on my TF by siliconing a sheet of hardboard to the bottom of the mat. You can't see it, the mat never crumples or moves, and this seems to prevent wear too

Mine were the original Rover logo embroidered mats, an optional extra when new, so worth keeping.

You could try chatting to these folks.
https://morethanpolish.com/product/custom-car-mats/ I have no idea if they'll just do a drivers mat but they might. Good Luck. |
