Default Lovel, #169 Over and Out

Folks the time has come for me to sign out for the last time. Too many other non 75/ZT interests needing my attention, I’m just not getting the technical buzz today from the forum, hence Lovel is over and out.

Hi Gary.
You and your knowledge will be sorely missed, but i get where you are coming from, too many social threads going on, mainly about politics, or some other utter rubbish.

The club loses another person with vast knowledge, time to take stock i would have thought from the owners of the club before all the tech people have left.

Hope you keep busy in your other ventures and they keep your grey matter ticking over good luck Arctic

I have to agree with your sentiments Steve,, I to have noticed a lot of threads on the form that are totally irrelevant to any to do with our cars.

Arctic and Number 6, surly areas of the the Social section can be used for topics other then cars?
Members of the forum collectively have a vast array of knowledge covering many many subjects, why not share it, talk about it and even ask for it?

You take the rough with the smooth, it's a forum with cars as young as 16/17 years old. It's bound to drift, and will be slowly diminishing to a point where it might not be viable to run. In the real world of Rover/MG, how many are going to need T4 work as the cars disappear for whatever reason? It's a small market and getting smaller by the day, the few that will be left will only have a limited audience to appeal to, the younger generation in the main don't care about cars.

Ian i agree the social forum as it's uses, but i think knowing about who is best to run the country, how many leaves fall of a tree, womens/mens football, which is best beans on toast or egg on toast etc, is not what most of us need to know, well i know i dont.

What is best to read about the above.

Maybe this is better to read /
