Default Cruise Control

Is there any known way to keep the pedal Switches, Clutch and Brake in place?

I have to periodically keep resetting them to get the CC working, which is now becoming a P.I.T.A

Maybe try bleeding the clutch hydraulics. Once set you shouldn't need to adjust the switches at all, but a bit of air in the clutch circuit may cause the pedal to not return to the same place each time, although there is a spring that assists the pedal to return once it nears the top, I've had the pedal not quite go back fully with air in the circuit.

When you say--re-setting them--is it because they are coming loose ?

OK, Thanks for that. Next time it happens i will have to try each one individually to see which one is causing the problem

That appears to be the problem, When it happens I have to push the switch,s back in and it then it continues to work OK until the next time.

I will have to sort out which one or both is causing the problem.

Thanks for the reply.

Having had the brake lights stuck on problem, can only suggest that if you are buying replacement(s) that you purchase them through Rimmer Bros.
A quick read of https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?t=287693 will lead you to a couple of longer threads on the brake switch problem- I believe the two are the same? Yet to have confirmation that any other supplier has correct switch....
